Final Verdict and My Experiment
The Red Smoothie Detox Factor is an easy, delicious, and healthy way to cleanse your body system. I’ve tried this program for a while now, I didn’t lose that much pounds, but I do feel more energetic throughout the day.
Cravings were hard to handle with the first few days, but then after awhile your body will get used to it, and if you do get hungry, you’ll actually crave those delicious red smoothies. Taste wise, I did enjoy a few of them, but most of them for me was a “it's not bad, but I don't think I'll ever drink this again” kind of feeling.
Now I couldn't find beetroot from where I live, which is one of the ingredients for most of the smoothies. Thus is why the smoothies do not look as red as its supposed to be. Here are a few pictures of the smoothies I made throughout the week.
The main ingredient for this smoothie are mandarins and bananas, I think it would be better to freeze your bananas before making them into the smoothie.
I made a mistake of just using an unpeeled banana and then adding ice cubes in, the consistency does not taste like a smoothie, more like liquid juice. I give this smoothie a 3 out of 5.
Inca's Secret Smoothie:
I think this is one of my least favourite smoothie out of all the smoothies. The recipe said to add in cayenne pepper which I immediately frowned upon when reading it. The kick of the spice was very odd and misplaced in my opinion. I give this smoothie a 1 out of 5.
This smoothie was slightly better than the previous smoothie, as it consists mostly of my favorite fruit, mangoes. But again, cayenne pepper was also in the recipe, so I added a little less than what the recipe recommended. I refuse to feel hot while drinking a cold smoothie. 2 out of 5 for this smoothie.
Sour! was the first taste I tasted, maybe it was the cherries. I don't know if I picked the wrong cherries, or it was supposed to taste this way, but it was too sour for my liking. Fortunately the milk kind of helped even that out. Not much to say, 3 out of 5.
Not a big fan of grapes, but surprisingly this smoothie tasted pretty good, one of my favorites actually. The only thing wrong was that I think I might've bought grapes with seeds. I get a seed every few gulps, which made it annoying. If you would like to try this recipe, make sure to purchase seedless grapes. 4 out of 5 for Grape Escape.
Now this is my favorite smoothie, as you can probably tell by the portion. The smoothie mostly consists of mangoes (my favourite), strawberries, and milk. It tastes sweet from the mangoes, a little bit sour from the strawberries, and creamy from the milk. I would drink this for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 5 out of 5, perfect!
I think overall the Red Smoothie Detox Factor has really helped me cleanse my system, helped my metabolism, and spiked up my energy levels. Even though I didn’t lose many pounds, I did realize the decrease in body fat. *
