As the lack of physical activities in our modern lifestyle has caused most of us to be at least a few pounds overweight, good information on diet and exercise has been a craving of many.
The problem is there is a lot of confusing and conflicting information out there. We wish to know which ones actually work and which is just hype.
Brian Flatt, a self-proclaimed sports nutritionist, has been successful with his previous program, the 3 Week Diet, despite many websites listed it as a scam.
He’s made some updates and improvements in this program, and I will share with you my actual results and why this program might look like a scam (but is not) and what you should be wary of.

What is The 4 Week Diet System?
Essentially, The 4 Week Diet System claims to work by forcing your fat burning and fat storing hormones to work together and aid you in losing weight quickly.
What often happens with weight loss diets is that you start losing water weight and muscle rather than fat. This is what’s different about this program. It helps you avoid this issue.
Instead of mainly consisting of diet plans, it also includes exercise routines that are designed for muscle toning, so that you can have a lean and firm body that looks sleek and strong.*
In order to write this book, the author claimed that he had reviewed every diet that he could find and did in-depth research with doctors and medical professionals.
He summarized them and developed a system of diet that was designed for different body types and based on eating the right foods, rather than restricting calories.
He has tested these weight loss strategies extensively and is confident that they will give you results.
You will be referred to A LOT of supplements from their affiliates. However, you do not need to purchase most of them and may substitute them with what’s available in your local area.
The improvements from The 3 Week Diet Program
The 4 Week Diet System may take longer than Brian’s previous program, but it offers better result-per-week.
The website suggests that you can lose 12 pounds or more in 4 weeks, compared to just “several pounds” in the 3 Week Diet program.*
The diet plans in this system were updated with the latest information from weight loss science, such as how to control the 4 fat-regulating hormones.
There are still no recipes included, however, while the must-avoid list of foods got bigger. The 4 Week Diet System recommended even more superfoods and supplements to boost your progress.
The most notable change was the exercise. Albeit not required, it has become more intense as you need gym equipment instead of only using dumbbells at home in the 3 Week Diet Program.
Lastly, it is now customized to gender and individuals’ specific needs.
What do you get by purchasing The 4 Week Diet System?
You will get 4 handbooks combined to 1 compact PDF for your convenience, and an audiobook if you prefer listening instead:
- Launch Handbook – in the beginning, it will introduce you to the concept of this diet plan and explain to you how your hormones are slowing down your metabolism and limiting your weight loss.
Moreover, it will give you a deep explanation of the science behind why the human body gains weight, why it holds onto it and what happens when it loses it.
- Diet Handbook – the main content will be how to eat in a way that stimulates your fat storage and fat burning hormones to work together.
Please keep in mind that this isn’t a crash diet and you don’t have to limit yourself to only veggies. The meal plan includes tasty foods that are enjoyable to eat so that you don’t have to feel deprived or hungry.
- Activity Handbook – a simple, quick and easy workout routine that you can do at home. The exercises are only 20-30 minutes, but they are intense and designed to burn as much fat as possible during that time.
- Motivation Handbook – helps you to transform your mindset, the most important part of your weight loss journey. It shows you how to master your mind to stay motivated for the long term.
You will also get Weight Loss Hypnosis Audios which is supposed to reduce your food cravings and motivate you to choose nutritious choices. It might be hard to believe that hypnosis can really help you lose weight, but it doesn’t hurt to give it a try.
However, I find that the weight loss hypnosis didn’t work for me. I only listened to it when I had strong cravings for an unhealthy food, and it failed to help me get rid of them.*
I still managed to avoid unhealthy food nevertheless, and the trick was to not shop for any unhealthy snacks. You don’t eat what you don’t buy. Also, try to eat out only a couple times a week or less.

I have not personally looked into this product myself. Hence, I am not aware of whether their contents are trustworthy.
I couldn't find any verifiable testimonials outside of their website. Most reviews come from SiteJabber and TrustPilot which I suspect were made up since they are partners. Even on other sites which gave good reviews on The 4 Week Diet System do not have any comments from real users.

My own results
Unlike my past review on The 3 Week Diet where I did not go to the gym at all and was quite overweight, I started the 4 Week Diet System when I was just slightly overweight.
Furthermore, I have already been going to the gym regularly although only 2-3 times a week.
I’ve also been following the system more closely this time and lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks by changing my diet according to the recommended foods in the handbook and adjusting the exercises I did in the gym.
This might be only half of my previous result trying the 3 Week Diet. The reason was that I had less weight to shed this time as I was closer to my ideal weight. In addition, although I don’t lose as much weight I feel that my body contains less fat and feel more toned.
About the author
There is not much information about Brian Flatt out there. The best I could find was from quora.com: a sports nutritionist, a personal trainer, and a health coach who has been in the industry of nutrition since the 90s. The owner of REV fitness which is based in Southern California.
There's actually a REV Fitness in Los Angeles, but since they have no website registered on Google Maps, I couldn't do any further verification.
As mentioned in my previous review about his product the 3-Week Diet, it seems strange that someone who has launched 3 best-selling diet programs with barely any online presence.
On Facebook, he only has less than a thousand friends and practically 0 followers.
On Twitter, I couldn’t find his verified account. There are some accounts with his profile picture, but with only 1 tweet or even none.
On LinkedIn he only has 4 connections and not even a profile picture.
I still stand with my view about Brian Flatt’s diet programs. They were not designed by an expert, and instead just a summary of other diet programs out there.
Nonetheless, he managed to cherry pick the effective parts. In my opinion, the most important information in The 4-Week Diet System was WHEN to eat and to exercise to get maximum fat burning results.
I also still suspect that this program is being used as an advertisement media for the superfoods and supplements that was “recommended” by the author. They try really hard to sell you many things, and they actually do it pretty well until it starts to get annoying.
In addition, as the author is unverifiable, and the customer service never replies, many accused this program as a scam.
Nevertheless, I still consider this as a good program as it contains good information, as long as you can get through the numerous upsells they throw at you.
For $27 after the $20 off using our discount code, it’s still worth the money as it saves you the time compiling and researching the information on your own.
And if you still think that it’s a scam after trying the program yourself, you can always get a refund directly from ClickBank on the link I provided above. So, there’s no risk really.
